Tom Martone, President of FCHPC, a retired businessman, is also an organizer and coordinator with few equals. His nickname could well be “NEVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.” For more than three years he has tirelessly encouraged horseshoe pitching in Flagler County and single handedly grew a handful of enthusiasts into a 86 member club. Tom has lobbied and cajoled various authorities to gain support for horseshoe pitching and through his never ending efforts, a new 18 court facility is now located at Old Dixie Community Park in Flagler County.
